General

Currently at Taper & Tonic, 601 Jefferson Street, Hoboken NJ. We may add more locations in the future.

No — our classes are beginner-friendly, with projects that grow skills over time.

We offer sessions for ages 6–9 and 10+, with projects tailored to each group. Teen and adult workshops are also available.

Bring water and a nut-free snack. All other supplies and machines are provided. Some upcycling classes may feature an item of your own to work with.

It depends on your child’s age.
Ages 5 and up may attend as a drop-off class. These sessions are structured, skill-based, and designed for independent participation.
Children under 5 attend with a parent or caregiver. At this age, we focus on guided exploration and shared creative experiences.

Policies

Single classes: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before class may be rescheduled to another available session.
Class packs: Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. If less notice is given, the class will be deducted from your package.

We do not offer cash refunds. Credits can be applied toward future classes or events.
Life happens— We understand that emergencies come up. If you run into an unexpected situation, please reach out—we’ll do our best to work with you.

Yes! We offer birthday parties, private lessons, and adult Sip-and-Sew events.

Yes — after-school and summer camps are available for kids and teens.

Yes! Many of our projects focus on upcycling and sustainability.
Pricing

Most kids’ classes are $40 per session.

Yes — a 5-class pack saves you $10 total.

Yes, sibling discounts are available. Contact us for details.

At checkout, you’ll see a field labeled “Redeem Coupon or Gift Certificate.” Simply enter your gift certificate code there — the amount will automatically apply to your total.
If your class costs more than your remaining balance, you can pay the difference by credit card.
